What is Mastering?

Mastering or pre mastering is called the last step of an audio production. Normally mastering is done with a stereo file. The dynamics and the frequency response of that stereo file are treated and corrected. Not every song and every genre need to be treated the same way. It takes a skilled mastering engineer to make every song sound good on every reproducing medium. We work with high quality analogue gear to make your track sound even better. 

Nowadays a mastering with so called stems is done quite often. Stems are Stereo files with separated Instrumentals and Vocals, so the mastering engineer has more options to make the track sound stellar. We offer both ways of mastering. Stereo file or stem.
